Course Description
Examines vehicle operators’ responsibilities for assisting passengers. Ensures that operators have an understanding of operating vehicle equipment for passengers to board the vehicle and have the ability to safely secure all occupants of the vehicle. The Passenger Assistance A course is in accordance with Mn DOT 8840.5910 Subpart 5.

This is the online portion of Passenger Assistance. In order to receive the appropriate, required certification for Passenger Assistance, you must complete this course as well as ‘Passenger Assistance B – Classroom.’ You may only access ‘Passenger Assistance B – Classroom’ if you complete this online course first. You’ll receive credit for the full eight (8) required hours of passenger assistance training only after completing this online portion, taking the classroom portion and then completing the assignment for the classroom portion.
